Adjustable Bench Assembly

Assembling the adjustable music bench is quite simple.

All you need to do to assemble your adjustable bench is attach the four legs. The legs are packaged with the adjustable seat. Follow the instructions below to attach the four legs.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Only one tool is required to assemble
your adjustable music bench.

A 1/2″ or a 13mm wrench or an adjustable/crescent wrench or socket wrench with a 1/2″ or a 13mm socket can also be used.

Adjustable Piano Bench Assembly Instructions

STEP 1

The bench legs come wrapped in foam. You can remove the foam before assembling.

The lag screw attached to the legs have a protective plastic tube. Protecting from scratching anything during shipping.

Slide these protective tubes off the lag screw.

Unscrew the nut from the lag screw and remove the washer. Set these 2 items aside for now.

STEP 2

With the bench upside down, and with the mechanism in the open position (i.e. in the #8 position), position the leg with the screw through the hole in the angle bracket.

Holding the leg firmly up, thread the washer, black side out, through the screw. Finger thread the nut onto the lag screw until you feel resistance (this is normal).

STEP 3

Using the wrench, tighten the nut onto the screw.

Keep holding the leg firmly up as you are doing this. If you don’t keep the leg firm, you may end up with legs that are uneven.

If this happens, loosen the nut on the uneven leg and adjust.

Repeat the above steps for the remaining 3 legs.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

The bench is designed to have the handles positioned to the back.

To adjust the height of the bench:

To lift or lower the seat, squeeze the two handles together and adjust accordingly.
There are 8 different cogs the seat can be set to.
DO NOT sit on the bench while adjusting the height.
DO NOT allow children to operate the bench without supervision.
